Orgs
In FIRES OF HOPE, PCs can choose from two Rebel groups or being part of the general Civilian body. Imperial PCs are not available for play. When creating a character, you can choose from these three orgs:
Rebel Alliance: The Shepherds
Part of the Gordian Reach Sector Command, the Shepherds is a cell of rebels operating with connections to the Rebel Alliance through Rebel Intelligence. This group is made up of spies, assassins, special operations soldiers, and general support personnel. The Shepherds is so named because they are tasked with ensuring that the Empire does not gain a strong enough foothold in the Gordian Reach to threaten the secrecy of Yavin IV's home base, while also disrupting Imperial operations along Feena Run and Ardan Cross hyperspace routes.
The Irregulars
A fringe group from the Gordian Reach Sector Command, the Irregulars are being deemed as extremist by some of the Rebel Alliance leadership due to their more aggressive operations which has lead to civilians being seen as collateral damage for the greater cause.
The Civilians
This is the catch-all for those who live in the Gordian Reach and are trying to make sense of their lives as the Rebels rise up and the Empire attempts to squash these sparks of uprisings.

Played-bys and icons
Characters are not required to have played-by actors or artistic renderings. Character pages will be set up with a default image, and if no played-by or artistic rendering of your character is provided, a default icon will be made.
Posting logs
Posting logs is encouraged — and required for your goal progress. As all PCs operate on the same side of the conflict, there is no concern of misuse of OOC-known information. However, STAFF takes OOC manipulation very seriously, and will investigate any hints of using information on the WIKI as IC knowledge without the appropriate IC connections or investigations.
